"So, Your Next Patient Has Autism..."

Congratulations and well done to Autism MK Partnership Board on the excellent success of their very first conference at Milton Keynes! The theme was " So, Your Next Patient Has Autism..."

As promised, a copy of the presentation I contributed to the programme is attached to this post. The Theme is 'Reasonable Adjustments: Developing Effective health Care Procedure Plans for Adolescents and Adults with ASD. It contains links to helpful resources and describes what I hope will be useful practical strategies for supporting effective primary health care consultations for people with Autism.

UPCOMING CONFERENCE: Autism Education: Assessing Progress Towards Meaningful Targets

The University of Birmingham is pleased to be hosting a conference on autism and education.
The conference will include experts from the UK and the USA who will present some of the
latest developments in education research and practice. The particular theme of this
conference will be to showcase and discuss some of the critical ways in which children with autism
can be assessed in school settings and how these assessments of progress can be related to
meaningful targets, particularly for adult life.
